Your first visit in our office will generally take about an hour. The doctor will discuss in great detail with you the health problems or conditions that you have been suffering from. The doctor will then perform a detailed orthopedic, neurological, and chiropractic examination. X-ray films may be taken if the doctor feels that they are necessary. If you have had recent MRI or x-ray studies, we ask that you bring those with you to your first appointment. Immediately after your examination, the doctor will know if you are a candidate for the DRS Protocol.
After your first visit, your are scheduled for your second visit. The second visit is called your report of findings. We do not begin DRS treatment on your first visit because the doctor needs time to study all the information he has gathered from your history, examination, and any films taken so that he will be able to recommend a treatment plan that he feels is appropriate for you.
On your second visit, the doctor will discuss with you exactly what is causing your pain and problems, exactly what our office can do to help you. The doctor will also let you know how often he needs to see you, the estimated length of your treatment, your expected outcome, as well as any fees that are involved.
